What we do
About Us
Australian Employee Lawyers is a specialist employment law firm dedicated to advising and representing employees across Australia, including clients in New South Wales, Western Australia and beyond. The firm focuses exclusively on employment law and workplace issues, providing clear advice and strong representation to individuals navigating issues arising from their employment.
The directors bring extensive experience in employment law and workplace litigation, including representing clients in matters before the Fair Work Commission. Both directors regularly appear before the Commission and assist employees with unfair dismissal, general protections and other workplace issues, as well as claims involving unpaid wages and entitlements and advices about end of employment. Through this work, the firm has developed a deep understanding of both the legal framework governing workplace issues and the practical realities of resolving them.
What We Do
Our Approach
Importantly, the directors have experience working on both sides of the employment relationship earlier in their careers, including advising employers. This perspective provides valuable insight into how businesses approach workplace issues, how decisions are made internally and how employers typically respond when claims are raised. That understanding allows matters to be approached strategically, with a clear appreciation of how issues are likely to be managed and defended.
While the firm services clients nationally, its approach is deliberately personal. Clients deal directly with the director responsible for their matter, rather than through layers of administrative staff or large teams. This helps ensure clear advice, consistent communication and a genuine understanding of the issues affecting each client.
What we do
Helping Employees Australia-Wide
The firm operates entirely online and represents employees across Australia. With directors based in Queensland and New South Wales, assistance is provided nationally through phone and video consultations, allowing employees anywhere in the country to access specialist employment law advice and representation.
We aim to provide most of our services on a fixed fee basis so that clients have clarity and certainty about legal costs from the outset. We believe this approach allows employees to obtain legal advice and representation without the uncertainty that can sometimes arise with hourly billing. Where we consider that another form of pricing may be more appropriate or beneficial for your particular matter, we will discuss this with you openly and agree on the most suitable approach before any work proceeds.
